NORTHWEST DIVISION
Arrowhead Christian 48 Cantwell 19 FINAL: When Jojo Turner completed a halfback option pass to Jaquill Ruffin on the Cardinals opening drive for a touchdown it would be the last lead Cantwell would enjoy on the night and season. Overwhelmed by the wide splits of the AC offense, the normally stingy Cards defense got a big dose of the brothers Mowbray. Noah Mowbray scored on touchdown runs of 45 and 5-yards. He also returned an interception for a score. Quarterback Bradley Mowbray threw for one and rushed for another as Arrowhead improved 11-1 and advances to the next around where it will host Maranatha.

Linfield Christian 28 Valley Christian 27 FINAL: The Crusaders jumped to a 20-7 lead thanks thanks to the running of Jonathan Nicholson (21-135yds, 2Tds), but the Lions rallied and jumped ahead on Lorenzo Burns’ 32-yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Pate near the end of the first half. In the third quarter VC on Quaid Kawana’s 11-yard run, but Linfield answered back in the same period with 16-yard scoring run by Zac Archer. LC takes on Pasadena Poly next week in rematch from earlier in the season.

He was complemented by quarterback Eli Snyder’s numbers; 14 of 22 for 281 yards and three touchdowns. Note: Natha was hit with eight penalties in the first quarter alone/Devine had three touchdowns called back in the contest.

Nipomo 58 Bishop Montgomery 7 FINAL: Titans got it done on the ground with six rushing touchdowns and dominated from the get go. Peyton Witcher returned an interception 40-yards to the house. No confirmation if Bishop Montgomery rolled into SLO before or after the game to hit Tahoe Joe’s.

Pasadena Poly 7 Morro Bay 0 FINAL: In a defense of struggle  it was a misplayed punt in the first quarter by the Pirates that led to the game’s only touchdown. A few minutes later Panther quarterback Parker Matthews went 5-yards to Griffin Carter for what proved to be the game winner. The victory improved Poly to 11-0 while Jack Greer’s Morro Bay squad closes the season at 5-6.

Shadow Hills 49 Notre Dame-Riverside 7 FINAL: Knights quarterback Isiah Ortega-dage only passed the ball three times for 14 yards. He only rushed the ball 11 times…for 241 yards and three touchdowns, including a 93-yard dash to paydirt. Tony Williams contributed 141 yards and two scores on 20 carries. Inside linebacker Robert Lares picked off a pass and recovered a fumble. The victory was Shadow’s eighth in a row.
