(“The TEN” is not a top ten but ten items worth being included in “The TEN”).

1. Temple City beats South Pasadena 6-1 on  a solid pitching performance from Kevin Chavez.

2. The LA KISS picks up former Green Bay Packer center Joe Madsen.

3. James Harden scores 32 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 115-109 win over the Clippers to tie the series at one game each.

4. After a four month long investigation, the NFL finds that New England personnel “probably” deliberately deflated balls during the AFC Championship game against the Indianapolis Colts.

5. The Angels beat Seattle 4-3 as they get a walk off win for the second consecutive game.

6. The Baltimore Ravens announce that safety Ed Reed has officially retired. Reed played in nine Pro Bowls and was named to eight All-Pro teams.

7. San Dimas improves to 25-0 with a 12-1 win over Rowland on Tuesday.

8. New La Puente HC Erick Williams spent one year as the DC at Arroyo under former head coach D.J. MacKinnon. MacKinnon stepped down after the 2002 season after a 23 year run.

9. The Dodgers’ Joc Pederson and Adrian Gonzalez are tied for the National League lead in home runs with nine.

10. On this date in 1959 the Dodgers celebrate “Roy Campanella Night” as the largest baseball crowd ever of 93,103 shows up at the LA Coliseum. Sandy Koufax beats the Yankees 6-2 in an exhibition game.
