2.) The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed 19-year MLB veteran pitcher Jamey Wright to a minor league contract and invited him to Spring Training.

4.) On this day in 1977 Pete Maravich scores 68 points in the New Orleans Jazz 124-107 victory over the New York Knicks. Maravich hit 16 of 19 from the foul line and made 26 field goals. This was three seasons before the NBA adopted the three-point shot.

5.) Former Sierra Canyon WR/Current Washington Huskies DB Isaiah Renfro turns 19 today.

7.) Burroughs, 22-7, went 9-5 in Pacific League play and tied for third. The Indians have won three in a row will play Santa Monica, Saturday night in the Division 1A semifinals. Burroughs last loss was on February 11th, 61-60, to Burbank.
