1. The Atlanta Falcons release wide receiver Roddy White, the franchise’s all-time leading receiver.

2. The Washington Redskins place the nonexclusive tag on quarterback Kirk Cousins.

3. The Denver Broncos place their exclusive franchise tag on Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller after they were unable to come to terms with the linebacker on a long term contract.

4. The Los Angeles Rams have placed their nonexclusive franchise tag on cornerback Trumaine Johnson.

5. The LA Galaxy was ousted in the CONCACAF Champions League with a 4-0 loss to Santos Laguna Tuesday night in Mexico.

6. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco gets three-year $66.4 million extension.

7. Former Maranatha star Tyler Dorsey scores 20 points and pulls down nine rebounds to lead Oregon to a 76-68 win over UCLA. With the win the Ducks clinch a share of the PAC 12 title while the Bruins fall to 6-11 in the conference.

8. The Los Angeles Clippers are 22-7 without Blake Griffin.

9. Happy Birthday to 1982 Heisman Trophy winner Herschel Walker who turns 54 today.
