Richards Signs Off at South Pas

By Tim Peterson

(South Pasadena) – C.B. Richards stepped down as the head coach at South Pasadena Friday after a two year stint multiple sources confirmed.

Richards went 14-7 overall including 8-3 in 2015 when he led the Tigers to the first round of the playoffs where they fell to Glendora. Last year South Pas went 6-4 overall (2-2 in the Rio Hondo League) and fell to Aquinas in the first round of the playoffs.

Richards took over for Marty Konrad who resigned after the 2014 season.

@tpeterson correction: If you count the Blair game a win by forfeit, South Pas was 7-4, 3-2 and fell to Aquinas round 1 cif playoff, but excluding Blair, yes they were 6-4, 2-2, but did NOT miss the playoffs. They just fell to Aquinas first round of playoffs just like how they fell to Glendora back in 2015..
From T. Peterson: Thanks Kevin. Corrected.
