I wish I knew what Cathedral did to you so I could understand your hate. The only beef I have with you is why do you keepbashing your Alma mater. Than I can understand. You don’t have to put all this crap on the Internet where everybody can see this. Your stupid agenda is to hurt Cathedral. No matter what you say Annonymous you are still a coward.

Annonymous you are wrong again. You posted about Cathedral can’t beat Santa Margarita and that topic had nothing to do with Cathedral. You are always attacking Cathedral for no good reason. What kind of scumbag Alum talks crap about his alma mater. I don’t put anybody under the bus. They are doing way more than Cathedral is doing. You never answer My Question. What did Cathedral do to you.

To Annonymous you are full of crap. I am a Loyal Alum who cares about everything and the future of Cathedral. You are a punk on these keyboards talking Crap about every program. You say your an Alum but you also might be a teacher there at Cathedral who hates Pearson. I have told you before if you have a grip with Coach go talk to him. I will meet you anywhere to discuss the problems you have with Coach. If you were a Real Man you would step up and talk face to face. Let me know when you want to meet instead of spreading hate on these posts. Thanl You Sir.

First of all Superman I am not Phantom Alum. I only defend Cathedral when someone attack’s them like You. If you check your stats at Cathedral they have 6 D1 Kids and 10 more playing College Football at all level’s. I think We can deliver. There are a lot of public School’s that recruit kids especially in the SGV. Before you get on The Bandwagon as a Cathedral hater check your facts first. A few morons Downtown Disney and Annonymous started all this hate and guys like you got on the bandwagon.

@Trinity Takedown. Check out Cathedrals’ Max Preps Page and look under Soccer. Cathedral is and will be a powerhouse moving up just about every year and are now Div. 1. In 2014-2015 they finished ranked # 1 in the state and # 3 in the USA. They beat the likes of DeLaSalle, St. John Bosco, Servite, and dominated the CIF and State Playoffs. Check out your stats before you put down any school (not just Cathedral).

@ EVERYONE; why did you guys bring D1 Fan back?
he is obnoxious , you can talk about a player or a small school in the MVS and he will chime in to state Cathedral won the hot dog eating contest, he likes exposure, he is the kid with so much insecurities he always has a better story to tell , you know that kid in the playground “my daddy is stronger than yours”
He doesn’t understand privates schools are hated by; reason #1 the fact that they recruit talent for their sports, #2 they get better exposure, so everyone is jealous, and envy them, all private recruit illegally, but most will train from freshman level , not Cathedral they recruit any year , and promise the world and do not deliver, and last reason why the hatred , guys like D1 Fan who comes to the MVS to taunt, show off, glamour and get free publicity. there you go I just gave him more exposure making him more popular, Are you a Kardashian?

    @ Trinity Takedown

What amazes me when you or people like you spout off about your beloved Trinity/D1 teams is quit interesting; to say the least. In the Maxpreps preseason rankings for the State of California, Santa Margarita is 32 and the Phantoms are listed at 50. Now, by no means am I a Cathedral fan. Using a team that has a ranking difference of 18, does not put them out of their league, nor is the remark about the campus and what they have. Maybe they have to pay more law suits from that archdiocese or maybe being behind the orange curtain, they just have clout and don’t get caught as often. Look there are teams in the same school district and in the same league ranked with a difference of 650 spots higher. Now thats entirely out of their league, but its not!

Sarcastic remarks are not necessary in the case of Cathedral, because anybody with a pulse can understand that the Phantoms would be entirely out of their league playing Santa Margarita. And this pertains to any sport you care to name. A simple tour of each campus will reveal that Cathedral is for the cash-strapped and delusional among us.

Dan Devine was the Coach for Notre Dame during Rudy’s last year. Parsegian was the coach that gave him the chance to even be on the scout team to begin with.

With 7 on 7 over I have some personal observations. I saw teams clearly athletic display their studs for all to see. Charter Oak, Pomona, Arroyo Diamond Ranch,Monrovia etc. Then there were teams that played 7 on 7 that were obviously better than they wished to display. La Serna, Downey, Norwalk El Rancho. I think were trying to hoodwink 7 on 7 devotees. Playing at 3/4 effort. If I’am wrong and those four teams that are typically pretty good but looked pretty bad at the summer tournaments were really trying hard to win, then those four are in for a long season.

*Spoiler Alert- Ara Parsegian sat Rudy on the bench til the Notre Dame team protested. Rudy played the end of the last game and got a sack.

I think Monrovia to be successful they will have to be a run heavy team. The offensive line will determine if the Cats will compete with a pretty tough non league schedule. If the line doesn’t open holes they will be in big trouble. Rams should be the number 1 back and will dominate in League play when the competition will get weak and Alfonso Castillo should get plenty of carries too. He looked like he put on some weight and not fat pure muscle. Devon Mayes will see some action too. He isn’t a speedster but has some great moves in the open field. Michael Washington will be electric but the Quarterback play will key for him getting enough touches. I don’t know why they don’t use Javen Walker at receiver he has good size and good hands.

I gather the Vikes think they’re the new La Mirada and the sky’s the limit on who they can hang with. Fact is, Williams doesn’t come close to the recruiting tactics of former LM head Moschetti, so the Eagles will use this encounter to sharpen their second and third string units.
