(Alhambra) – South Pasadena held Alhambra to just 130 total yards and went on to shut out the Moors 27-0 Friday night at Moor Field.
Alhambra managed only 22 yards on the ground. South Pasadena led 14-0 at the half before closing it out in the second half.
Justin Huff completed 9 of 14 for 154 yards and three touchdowns, without an interception for the Tigers. Sidney Lua-Long had five receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown Danny Rios hauled in four catches for 83 yards and two scores.
South Pas pieced together a 79-yard drive late in the second quarter to go up by 14 at the break. In the second half the Tigers controlled the line of scrimmage scoring on drives of 71 and 87 yards.
With the victory, South Pasadena improved to 4-1 on the year. Alhambra dropped to 2-2.
