@oiler nation
home grown talent? what are you talking about… you are really dumb! the cantwell kids live in the area. its not like those kids are from LB, Pasadena, Orange County…. what the heck are you talking about home grown kids. we are doing the same crap you guys were able to do the last 5 years. just stop you are making Montbello look worse than it does already. our coaches havent gone to houses, schools, or even talked to parents promising them anything. those men are great guys who care about the kids, they still care for my kid who’s graduated! please if you have facts stat the facts and stay in your lane!
@oilerNation, already making excuses. Hahahahahaha. Reminds me of someone with no date to the prom.
@Oilboy, home grown talent? Like Petay? Now is where you explain how all those transfer’s. What a joke…good luck competing for 3rd and 4th place.
@anon?
You don’t like it then don’t read it. You move on clown. My posts are facts not opinions. If that’s the way they play then so be it. Can’t win with Home talent. You DELETED are all the same. Get a life clown..
@oilernation, get over it already. Dude move on. Your facts are not facts but opinions. Your post are not the only one’s not going through cause I have posted plenty on your crooked xxxxx and xxxxxx. Move on!
The actual rule is as long as a player is enrolled at a school, he can practice with the team. That does include 7 vs 7 competitions. That does not mean they are cleared to play in a game with the school.
@ CIF is a Joke: I share your disdain for the CIF Southern Section, especially regarding its “regulation” of high school football. Your question is a valid one which should be answered in a forthright manner.
Ramos had his chance last year. Like at BG he found a way to mess it all up now at division 10 I think way better teams just don’t see it
@anon
You meant Go Oiler at the end of your comment correct?
If you’re agreeing with what Montebello fans are talking about, the you’re just someone pretending to be a Schurr. Good try lol
The problem is most school’s do not verify that their new transfers actually moved into the area. We all have to deal with the non truths of new players. We have had more than a dozen that have came into our school with our new coach. It happens, unless the school’s admin is very strict which I doubt many are the problem will continue!
I also have to agree that private schools should have their league. With limitless boundaries its just not fair.
@ Everyone: Refrain from tampering, offering illegal inducements, and recruiting when it comes to student-athletes who are already enrolled at another high school. Athletic programs must renounce the practice of poaching players from other schools.
Programs which accept transfer players need to make sure that they are enrolled under their real names, and every public school should do what it can to verify that the addresses which are provided are legitimate (in all cases where residency is a factor).
Private high schools, which are not subject to attendance boundaries, have a lot more leeway. Consequently, they should be in leagues and playoff divisions that are entirely separate from those for public schools.
On an entirely ethical and moral level, private schools shouldn’t be poaching players from each other, or from public schools, either.
Why are you so mad? Every football team recruits.
At the end of the day the kids are going to play where they want to play. It doesn’t matter how many CIF rules there are. The parents will find a way to make it happen. There are more schools suffering other than Cantwell, and if I’m not mistaken Cantwell is a private school isn’t it? They can always transfer to their “home” school and play ball.
@oilernation, dude stop already. Talk about our team. Let them fools do what they wants. We got a team to prepare. I hear our coaches are putting together a good group of kids. Will our QB be good enoigh to lead them to the top? Does he have enoigh pieces around him to capture the title? You seem to be passionate about the team so please fill us in.
@blogger, 3rd place, that seems a little high. LOL
Lawyers dont do nothing for free. This guy is chasing ambulances.
Sounds like the Oiler fan is very upset with the Spartan coaches. I think he will be even more upset when his beloved Oilers are playing for third place in league play.
BG is going to beat the Oilers…… calling it now!
@oilernatiin, LOL. Go find another blog to spill your hate and take the CSHM softball mom with you. HAHAHA
From T. Peterson: You should have seen the stuff I deleted!

I remember watching that game on
T.V., the ole black and white !!
If it were up to me, I’d use at least one of those billboards to get Lonzo gone, and another to encourage readership of Mid Valley Sports…but that’s just me.
