Schurr is being talked about because they recruit other school players. They are being talked about because they lost in the second round with a great team.

I have been reading these post the big question is Juse Olivo really not cleared ? I would think that’s a big No No. I wouldn’t think the Schurr coaches and administration are that dumb. If it’s true karma is coming Schurr. Thanks the Jude he recruited our kids from CHS. Please let them get in trouble.
ok schlurp 89 I’m shurr you are optimistic for your team. Everyone, generally is, going into a season. I did say there is room for optimism in my post. What you may be being told is what you want to hear but when asking people cold in the stands, who were wearing schurr colors and emblem, what they thought…and they have boys on the team, is they think it will be a tough year. IDK the kids or the coaches, but when a team graduates a ton of kids and thinks they are going to reload and go 8-2, I read somewhere, they are either the worst teams around like keppel types or they are getting a bunch of transfers in from somewhere else, not the schurr boys who put it out on the field every day. I believe there is a post on here stating the RB from montebello has been denied already with further investigation on several others. It doesn’t surprise me that the schurr staff or people connected to the team may, or did or have gone out and tried to get kids from other schools. I’m sure the vanity of winning is tough to face when the kids you do have on your campus aren’t good enough to compete the way your past two yrs teams have competed. There’s a site on cif for the approvals. The qb whom wasn’t there in the spring (and since there is a need for a vacated spot at schurr for qb) is under review. I would have to say JBs post may be correct on the rb being denied…and that being said…I’m sure the qb was not legal to be there either. Now, none of this matters as I think Schlurp 89 said….his team is going to get it done on the field. And what they will get done is a 6-4 at best team with transfers…if they are allowed to play…which I hope they are not. They can stay at their own schools and stick it out with their own “friends”. Go get em cif. Ban all those transfers. It is what is right.

Help me out here…..you must have some insight to the CIF office? The only kid listed for Schurr this season is still listed as pending. Normally, CIF lists ALL transfers and their status once the paperwork has been submitted.
Is there a new procedure we are all unaware of? If you are saying some kids application has been rejected but it’s not posted then you must have access to lists the rest of don’t?
How is it then? What algorithm is being used for Montebello to be in a lower division than Schurr? This is perplexing
I wonder what would happen if, never mind God, time and truth will always prevail.

The walls are slowly falling in on Schurr, the Montebello RB who transferred was denied by CIF because of “Undue Influence” and the district has begun to crackdown on uncleared coaches. Coaches have until August 1 to get cleared, district is also investigating the 9 to 11 other student/athletes that have transferred to Schurr. Should be interesting to see what happens with the season roughly 3 weeks away.
Breaking news by a real reporter? Get lost. Not even going to address your comments but to say we will do it on the field and if you talk to anyone near our program we all feel really optimistic. Go Spartan.
I have heard about schurr and the team they had last year. Kids that had played for three yrs together, went to second round each yr, and have all graduated! I was at their most recent PG tourney and the teams they played were not good…at all. I spoke to some people close to the program and even though there is room for optimism, they say they will struggle. The league they play in is terrible (58 out of 71 rated in the southern section: fact not fiction). The preseason is going to be their toughest games and they may not win but one of those. ( just repeating what their own people said) If they go 6-4 or better it will say a lot of their staff or the kids they have there. I have heard some transfers are in, too, that will be starters (probably right away) but honestly I think they are a 4-6 at worse and 6-4 at best with what they have to rebuild with and the schedule.

We going to light you guys up so then your only statement will be how you guys won for four years in a row. Old news. We got the last one and the next ONE’s so get use to it. You must of been sleeping these last 5 years. And with your super team last year you guys won by 3. Get a grip on reality. Make a legitimate run and then you can talk. You guys look pretty good this year but we will see who you have when the season starts. It’s well known that all those transfers will not be on your guys rosters. Hate to burst your bubble again. But at least you guys can claim you won a few passing league titles. Lol!! We will see soon enough! The hammer is getting dropped on you soon enough!!
How is Jude Oliva even coaching last year or this year? He isn’t even cleared by the district office. Never cleared, never board approved. Like coaches, like players. Who is checking on these guys?

Ramos is doing a great job at Schurr. Marco Ramirez never ran Schurr the way it’s beong ran right now. Schurr is being talked about because they are winning again.

Totally agree. Should be a good clash and the QBs will be two of the best in the area. That being said, the game will be won in the trenches. Our Oline is looking really solid but I believe our front D 7 will be one of the best in the area. Coach Chuck for Arroyo always has his lines ready to play and this year’s team will be no different. Safe season to amboth teams and looking forward to a great game against Arroyo.
Week 3 vs Arroyo will say a lot about who both teams are.
