Something has to be done about the flow of talent into these select football mills. Maybe Rob Pelinka can be brought onboard to stab some backs and stem the tide.
Orange County competition and culture mind set are recruited from Downtown and all of So Cal like Cathedral, Crenshaw’s, And Jordan. Troy is back at Servite because now the admin is allowing him to recruit. All the best talent in the valley now goes to 2 private schools, Sierra Canyon and Oaks Christian. We will see if Sierra Canyon can go against the D-1 and in the open Division. Bosco gets the best from Northern Orange County, Los Alamitos, HB, FV etc. Poly has been loosing its players since Lara left. Bosco will as well get Carson’s Samoan population, Long Beach, Lynwood and Other South LA player. I just wonder how many starters on all those teams actual pay the full tuition, books and transportation too and from home?
Who did well in the tournament?
Hey friars. Last time I checked, they don’t give cif rings for 7on7. Just ask cathedral
With the return of Troy Thomas, Servite is on its way toward challenging Bosco and Mater Dei in the super-tough Trinity league. Strange how Troy’s coaching style fits the culture at Servite far better than it did at his alma mater Crespi. Go figure.
