@FB–You can have multiple titles then leave to programs with not D1 type players and go 1-9 and can’t win nada. Ask Gano, Beltran etc. Even a genius needs great players.
Was at a coaches clinic at El Rancho where Medrano and Norco’s Chastain presented. My old thoughts were just confirmed. If those 2 guys coaches together at a program, they’d be darn near unstoppable if they had a few players.
If guys like Carew and Gwynn were playing today they could hit 400. With juiced balls and infielders playing in the outfield they would take the bunt and opposite field singles all day. But in today’s game even little guys like Altuve hitting around 260 are all swinging for the fences.
Child shrinks have noted that child athletes that bounce around looking for a favorable situation are often mal-adjusted and find it hard to make lasting relationships as teens and adults. The parents doing that to their kids are to often doing it for themselves and not their sons and daughters. No child likes to move but craves stability.
It’s not fake news but it is old news. ALL schools recruit not just LA and Northview, it’s the way high school sports are played now. Everyone is always complaining about recruits but until CIF does home inspections for every single transfer nothing will change. LAparent embrace your coach and his staff, have your parents get on board and support what he is doing for your program. LA would probably be a better place if the coach had your support.
One of the Northview guys are complaining about recruiting some of their players and the other telling him to “shut up.” The new guys doesn’t know that Northview has been recruiting for years. The old guys does not want him to open up a can of worms. Both those schools have been recruiting years now with social media everybody know. Fake news, I don’t think so. Both schools principals have no integrity, they will sell their soul to win ballgames all the wrong way.
