Ok Guy!!!! LOL. What a loser! Sad state of your life….think about what you do to pass time? Seriously!
You’re wrong if it wasn’t about W’s they wouldn’t keep score. You get that into a kids head they’ll think it’s okay to lose. Show me a person that doesn’t mind losing and I’ll shower you a loser. That’s something to take past HS football.
Em will lose this week vs OV. They have played three teams that are 0-9. As far as Cueveas the problem is he is not good that’s why he had a bad game. Maybe in the bottom feeder league MVL he can do well but in real football he will struggle immensely. arroyo is much improved and it will be a good game. booth is not D1more like D2 but the coach can continue to tell everyone he is. Way to small and not a guy that likes to work. His peers seem to see more than we do.
Game story for Alhambra vs. Temple City:
The Alhambra Moors overcame a slow start at Temple City last Friday night, pulling away to a 41-0 win thanks to their running attack and a stout defense.
Running backs Jose Ortiz and Issac Hernandez each scored two second-half touchdowns to lead the Moors. Ortiz carried the ball 11 times for 112 yards, and Hernandez rushed for 81 yards in 12 attempts.
The Moors’ Vito Russell starred on special teams, returning a punt 65 yards for a touchdown to give Alhambra a 7-0 lead in the first quarter. And, his 35-yard kickoff return to open the second half launched a scoring drive which put the Moors ahead, 20-0.
AHS quarterback Noah Rodriguez hit on eight of 17 passes for 88 yards, with one interception.
Temple City kept the game close for almost the entire first half, utilizing a ball-control offense to limit the Moors’ offensive opportunities. The Rams ran 38 plays from scrimmage in the opening half, to only 18 plays for the Moors.
However, the Rams failed to score; the farthest they advanced was to the Alhambra 14-yard line early in the second quarter.
The Moors finally extended their lead to 14-0 when they drove 77 yards and scored on a two-yard run by Henry Soto with just 36 seconds left before halftime.
Alhambra added four unanswered touchdowns in the second half to turn the game into a rout.
The Moors’ defense held the Rams to only 28 yards on the ground. Temple City quarterback Alex Vera completed just nine of 27 passes for 113 yards, and he threw three interceptions.
Alhambra improved to 3-0 in nonleague play, while Temple City dropped to 1-1.
El Terr?
Nobody at MHS makes excuses. Nobody! Where does that come from? Just someone’s obvious jealousy. Why? I don’t know or care. Apple Valley and Valley View we’re both great teams. Valley View if I’m correct played in a State Bowl game.
I’m assuming you didn’t know that only one team can win their respective division. At MHS, we don’t roll over at all. We try our DELETED off and if we win then great. If we lose then so be it. But at least these kids are held accountable and to a higher standard which helps these kids past HS football. It’s not all about W’s. It’s about maturity and getting better every game. This is one of the great things I admire about Coach Gonzalez and his staff. These kids lives don’t stop if they lose a game. They just get back to work and prepare for the next game.
So if your looking for a program like that then move to Orange County.
You may think that winning league is nothing but these kids will forever be proud of it. If your not then get lost. Pretty sure nobody will be looking for you if you do. Lifelong has been …….Dont look if you don’t like!!
