Arroyo will have their moments in league because, let’s face it, it’s the MVL. They will get blown out by the EM Transfer Express, squeak by Rosemead, and easily beat the other clown schools. 4-1 league finish. The fact of the matter is Arroyo is having a down year and you can’t help but wonder, are they no longer going to be a powerhouse?

Team lost. You must be one of the parents of the players who were kicked off the team. Fortunately for you and your kids there is a whittier school that will accept that behavior. Cal is not one.

Well if the case is that players don’t believe in the program the coach is installing and this happens on several occasions then it seems like it’s the players not the AD

What Area Dad doesn’t mention is that athletic director Jim Arnold was also broomed for “losing the team.” Now, the Condors are collapsing even quicker than they did under Trudell because Arnold is still picking the coaches. A couple more seasons like this, and Cal will have to join Pioneer in the 605 league.

Sour grapes! The guy before Zamora lost the team. They had no faith in him. Zamora is bringing players back that believe along with the rest of the team. This is coach Zamora’s 1st year. It takes more than one season to change a culture. Change goan come

Going to be a good game this week with a much improved Rosemead team. Should be quick and points should be scored. Booth and Cueva are the difference though. El Monte’s backfield has probably the three best players in the league and 4 of the top five or six easy.

Loser of the Cal vs. Santa Fe game will not win a game in league, hope it isn’t Zamora! Even the guy he replaced won a game or two in league every year! Its been said on here before, Zamora was the wrong hire!

60+ points happens but with all your starters in the whole game now that’s disrespectful and going for two. Horrible.

Some surprise blowouts, While I thought both winning teams would win I thought the Bonita vs Covina and the La Serna vs Warren games would be closer games. That LS game is really an eye opener, looks like the Lancers are hitting full stride.
Also great win for St. Paul. Los Alamitos is a good notch to have on your belt, even in a down year like this year.

Honeymoon is over for Cal and Zamora after bad loss to Don Lugo. Santa Fe Down in the dumps as well. Whittier team getting healthy and wealthy at the expense of the OC. 7o points? Really Ancich. Who you mad at? LS and ER did what they were supposed to do leading up to what looks like on paper the Del Rio title match but I still think during the tension filled league play LS @ ER can be upset by any team.

    La Serna 50 warren 6…oops!!

If it wasn’t for the worst referee crew I have ever seen try and call a game Warren wouldn’t even have that 6. La Serna stopped Warren on 4th and 1 on the opening drive both teams left the field the chains were reset for La Serna and the idiot head ref called for a measurement after already giving La Serna the ball. Of course by this time because the chains were reset it gave Warren the first down. That ref should be fired!

For all the La Serna haters we destroyed Warren! El Rancho is next! They will also get destroyed!!!

With the preseason behind them, it’s time for La Serna to relax and prepare for the playoffs. In other words, it’s time for Del Taco league play.

The coaches at SV should be ashamed of themselves. Someone needs to quite them down, last time I checked their Freshmen team played MD and couldn’t score a single point. Their varsity coach needs a dose of reality, no self respectig coach let’s his team score 68 points. Sad.

Friday’s biggest results were La Serna walloping Warren, 50-6, and St. Paul besting Los Alamitos, 14-7. Warren and Los Alamitos have to be wondering what just happened to them.
