  1. The Tennessee Titans have closed their facilities after three players and five personnel tested positive for the coronavirus. 
  2. The Chargers placed cornerback Chris Harris on injured reserve with a foot injury. He will be out at least the next three games. 
  3. This will be LeBron James 10th trip to the NBA Finals.  
  4. San Dimas will hit the practice field Monday October 5th. 
  5. The Houston Astros scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat the Minnesota Twins 4-1 Tuesday in Game 1 of the AL Wild Card Series. 
  6. The Dodgers will start Walker Buehler Wednesday night against the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 1 of the NL Wild Card Series. 
  7. The New York Yankees routed the Cleveland Indians 12-3 in Game 1 of the AL Wild Card Series.

  9. On this day in 1984 the Angels Mike Witt threw a perfect game in a 1-0 win over the Texas Rangers.
