Game #10: 9-0, playing for a league championship in a game we have no business winning. Oh well 🤷🏽‍♂️ #underdogs” – El Rancho HC Adrian Medrano on Facebook.

Here we go again, the same dude that loves to stir the pot come week 9/10 of every season, was it you who came on here and said Medrano was leaving ER after 2017, was it you who said Medrano was leaving ER to be the Cal High OC after 2019? His post has nothing to do with frustration from the district, it’s more to do with everyone (media) once again underestimating his team, acting like we didn’t make runs in 2016, 2018, 2019 and now 2021. Btw that stadium project is on the move, whatever politic bs happened is now a thing of the past, the stadium is coming, he’s not going anywhere. Lookout because the talent is starting to roll in, you’ll hear about it soon enough. If you were butt hurt about losing to ER before, it’s going to get worse.

With poor practice facilities, the worst field in the CIF and a crumbling stadium with no help coming from the administration Medrano is vunerable to the wooings of any program wanting to be rescued. A Medrano hire would bring instant credibility to say a suffering South Hills program and bring back the players. Imagine Santa Fe’s famous boosters, how happy they would be to see Santa Fe back in the game after a decade of futility. For some reason El Rancho’s administration has chosen to pick on the football program and its fan base. They are going to lose Medrano. His post expresses his frustration at the little respect his team gets and all you have to do is look at the stadium. The community voted to build a new one with 100 million and more in bonds and the District got it. Where’s the Beef? That was 5 years ago. Compare their’s to Cals and Pioneers Stadiums. The Don’s great program is going,going…..g?

A resurgent and very hungry Servite teams takes on the nation’s #1 team Mater Dei Saturday night at Santa Ana stadium. For those who consider ER’s underdog status intriguing, how about Troy Thomas’s quest to topple the best team in America? These teams are closer to the Mid Valley than Chatsworth, so if MVS can permanently adopt Sierra Canyon as part of its family, how about letting these other two stay at the house for one week?
