  1. The Rams signed quarterback Matthew Stafford to a four-year, $160 million contract extension. 
  2. The Rams traded receiver Robert Woods to the Tennessee Titans for a sixth round pick in the 2023 draft. 
  3. UCLA advanced to the Sweet Sixteen with a 72-56 win over St. Mary’s Saturday. 
  4. USC was knocked out in the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a 68-66 loss to Miami Friday. 
  5. Longtime NFL reporter John Clayton passed away at the age of 67. 
  6. Former USC/Pittsburgh Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster signed a one-year, $10.75 million deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. 
  7. Houston Texans Quarterback Deshaun Watson was acquired by the Cleveland Browns for three first round picks, a third round pick and a fifth round pick. The Browns will give Watson a new deal which will include a $12 million a year raise from his previous contract. 
  8. The Atlanta Braves signed longtime Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen to a one-year, $16 million contract. 
  9. The Minnesota Twins signed shortstop Carlos Correa to a three-year, $105.3 million contract. 
  10. #15 seed St. Peter’s advanced to the Sweet Sixteen with a 70-60 win over Murray State Saturday.
