- The Philadelphia 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets 96-88 Saturday to complete a four-game sweep in their first round Eastern Conference playoff series.
- The Phoenix Suns beat the Clippers 112-100 Saturday to take a 3-1 lead in their Western Conference playoff series.
- Gervonta “Tank” Davis knocked out Ryan Garcia in the 7th round with a body shot Saturday night in Las Vegas.
- Angels starting rookie catcher Logan O’Hoppe wil be sidelined four-six months with a torn labrum.
- The LA Kings blew a 3-0 1st period lead and lost to the Edmonton Oilers 5-4 Sunday night to even their Western Conference playoff series at 2-2.
- Four Detroit Lions players, including 2022 first-round pick Jameson Williams, WR, have been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL’s gambling policy. Washington Commanders defensive end Shaka Toney was also suspended after a league investigation.
