Coach of the Year: Jim Singiser – Arroyo

Arroyo won the Mission Valley League title. Ho hum, okay. The Knights seemingly do that every year. But this season they took it to a whole different level.

The Peterson Principle: 12/5/2016

By Tim Peterson I’ll admit it was hard to be a non biased reporter last Saturday night. Being an Arroyo alum I almost threw my clipboard in the air and my arms to the sky when Ernesto “Macho” Camacho hit Devin Knight with the game winner in overtime for the CIF Championship. But I refrained.

Arroyo-Rosemead…in May

Arroyo and Rosemead renewed old acquaintances Saturday at B.L. Bergstrom Stadium. The Panthers and the Knights have been butting heads for decades in what is the best rivalry in the Mission Valley League but this wasn’t quite as intense as a Friday night clash in October.

And the Passing Beat Goes on at Arroyo

(El Monte) – Okay we know we’ve seen a lot of passing games at Arroyo. Well, that’s because the Knights are always hosting and they’re in our backyard. Besides they bring in lot of different teams which means we can check out four or five different teams everytime they’re out.
