Newcomer of the Year: QB Ernesto Camacho – Arroyo
Ernesto Camacho wasn’t supposed to see much action in 2016. Arroyo had its quarterback. He was penciled in back in the summer and in the early part of the year looked like he was locked in for the whole year.
Coach of the Year: Jim Singiser – Arroyo
Arroyo won the Mission Valley League title. Ho hum, okay. The Knights seemingly do that every year. But this season they took it to a whole different level.

Arroyo Run Ends in La Jolla, 63-42
