Golden Knights Edge La Serna To Remain Unbeaten
(Whittier) The St. Francis Golden Knights and the La Serna Lancers did battle Friday night at Sandy Thorstenson Stadium on the campus of California High School. After four quarters of give and take, the Golden Knights came away with a 24-21 victory.

(Downey) The Downey Vikings got a touchdown on a one yard plunge by Trevor Hill late in the first quarter and were able to make it stand in a 7-6 win Friday night at Allen Layne Stadium on the campus of Downey High School. Allen Layne himself was in attendance to watch the contest.
