Salazar Steps Down at Nogales

By Tim Peterson (La Puente) – Nogales Head Coach Richard Salazar has stepped down after four years. The Nobles finished 10-2 this past season and advanced to the second round of the Division 13 playoffs where they fell to Silver Valley.

Pasadena Slams Into Semis

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Darius Brown II scored 18 points and dished out a school record 20 assists and Bryce Hamilton scored 27 points to lead Pasadena to 75-62 win over Taft Saturday night to advance to the CIF Division 1 State semi finals.

Galaxy Off on the Right Foot, 2-1

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – The Galaxy scored twice in the span of two minutes in the first half and it was enough to beat Portland 2-1 Sunday night in the 2018 MLS season opener before a sold out crowd of 25, 462 at StubHub Center.

Glendora Completes Perfect Run
