Galaxy Salvages Draw With Dynamo

By Tim Peterson (Carson) – There were six minutes of additional time added at the end of regulation Saturday night and the Galaxy took full advantage as Romain Aessandrini scored four minutes later to salvage a 2-2 tie with Houston before a sold out crowd of 25,667 at StubHub Center.

El Rancho Tournament in Pictures

16 Teams were out at El Rancho Saturday throwing the ball around. Culver City beat Crescenta Valley in the Finals. Arroyo made it to the semis with a victory over Northview before losing to eventual champion Culver City.

By Tim Peterson (Pomona) – Cathedral won the “Red Devils Shootout” Saturday at Pomona. There were 20 teams overall with Cathedral playing out of Group C with West Covina, Locke, Pomona and Bolsa Grande.

East Takes Control Down the 605

By Tim  Peterson (Whittier) – The East pulled away with two third quarter touchdowns and went on to beat the West 24-3 Saturday night in the 605 All-Star Classic at Dick Torres Stadium at Pioneer High.
