Boise St. Pounds Northern Illinois in Poinsettia
By Tim Peterson (San Diego) – Boise State jumped out to a 21-0 lead and rolled to a 55-7 rout of Northern Illinois Wednesday before 21,501 at the Poinsettia Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium. The 55 points scored set a Poinsettia Bowl record for most points scored.
Johnson Jolts M-Town Past Glendora
By Corey Kwok (Monrovia) – Kris Johnson scored eight of his team high 13 points in the second half and notched four assists and 13 rebounds for Monrovia, which re-rallied past and shut down Glendora with a strong 18-4 fourth quarter on to a 46-35 win.
