Stangs Stopped by Norwalk & Penny
By Alex Gonzalez (Pasadena)- With 1:19 left in the fourth quarter, Rashaad Penny scored the go ahead touchdown from 10-yards out, and the two-point conversion, to give Norwalk a 35-28 victory over Muir in the Southeast Division semifinals Friday night at John Muir High school.
Palmer, La Serna, Lance Bulldogs
(Whittier)- Frankie Palmer’s 3-yard run with 23 seconds left in the fourth quarter gave La Serna a 28-21 victory over Burbank in Friday nights Southeast Division semifinal at Whittier District Field. The win secures the Lancers third consecutive CIF Finals appearance.
El Segundo 59 Oak Park 40
Lars Nootbar accounted for four touchdowns, one on the ground and three to wide receiver Nick Karrseboom to give El Segundo a 59-40 victory over Oak Park and a birth in the Northwest Division Finals for the first time in school history.

(El Monte) – Most people don’t like working on holidays. But if you’re a high school football player or coach, you enjoy working on Thanksgiving. It means you’ve accomplished something, have advanced to the next level, heck it means you’re still playing.
