By Duane Barker (South El Monte) The South El Monte Eagles played host to the Bell Gardens Lancers Friday night at The Swamp on the campus of South El Monte High School. The Eagles stayed on the ground and ran to a 21-12 victory.

By Tim Peterson (Rosemead) – Rosemead turned the ball over six times including an interception with 33 seconds remaining in a 17-14 loss to Schurr Friday night. The Spartans spoiled the Panthers first game in their newly refurbished stadium.
