By Tim Peterson (Pico Rivera) – This won’t go down as one of the greatest games in history. You won’t find it in a football book titled “How to play the game.” To say it was ugly is being too kind. At times it resembled a cat name Frankenstein.

By Alex Gonzalez San Dimas — The San Dimas Saints opened the 2021 shortened campaign season by exploding for 415 yards, including six rushing touchdowns, in a 49-7 win over Garden Grove Friday night at San Dimas high school.

South Pasadena Spoils Ostry’s Debut, 36-30

By Rich Whittington (La Canada) – Ivan Ostry’s La Canada debut fell slightly short Friday evening, as the visiting South Pasadena Tigers edged the Spartans, 36-30, in front of a Covid-19 permitted crowd at Spartan Stadium.

Clarke Steps Down at Gladstone

By Tim Peterson (Covina)- Ted Clarke has stepped down as the head football coach at Gladstone after four years he confirmed Friday. Clarke tore his meniscus recently and decided to step down to get healthy.
