Colts Leave Westminster Feeling The Burns II…Advance To Semi-finals

By Duane Barker (Covina) – Covina jumped out to a 28-0 lead on the legs and arm of Nin Burns II and went on to beat Westminster 42-28 Thursday night in a CIF Division 11 Playoff second round contest at Covina District Field.

Spartans Dominate Falcons In First Round

By Duane Barker (Montebello) The Schurr Spartans faced the Valley Falcons Friday night at Ken Davis field in the first round of the Division 11 playoffs. The Spartans got huge games from Miguel Aguero, Kevin Lopez and Francisco Remigio in the complete domination of the Falcons in a 49-14 rout.

Saints Season Stopped at Goal Line

By Tim Peterson (San Dimas) – San Dimas running back Dylan Ware was stopped at the goal line on a two point conversion attempt in overtime to lift Kaiser to a 35-34 win over the Saints Friday night in the first round of the CIF Division 8 Playoffs.
