Mission Viejo Wins Gold at the Battle at the Beach; Charter Oak Takes Silver

By Tim Peterson (Huntington Beach) – Mission Viejo beat St. John Bosco 26-25 in the Final of the Gold Bracket to win the championship Saturday at the Battle of the Beach 7 on 7 passing tournament at Edison High School in Huntington Beach.

The Battle at the Beach 7 on 7 passing Tournament is scheduled for this Saturday at Edison High School. Charter Oak is the only SGV Team in the Tourney as the Chargers go up against the “Big Boys”.

(Baldwin Park) – Eisenhower beat Village Christian in the Finals to win the Baldwin Park 7 v 7 Showcase Saturday. Village Christian beat Pasadena, Muir and Pius X in the Gold Bracket before losing to Eisenhower in the championship game. Southgate defeated Baldwin Park in the Silver Bracket.
