(Buena Park) – Former Arcadia assistant Eric Elias has been hired as an assistant coach at Buena Park. Elias, who spent 10 years at Arcadia, (5 as a position coach and 5 as a coordinator), is looking forward to his new opportunity.

“I’m taking myself down to Buena Park to join Coach (Anthony) White and Coach (Jude) Oliva. Hope we can take it to the next level. I’m super excited,” Elias said.

White feels Elias is a valuable addition to his staff. “We are extremely excited and proud to announce the addition of Eric Elias and the Elias family to Buena Park. Eric is a great, young, energetic and motivated coach that Jude Oliva and I feel is a perfect fit for our program when it comes to hard work, dedication, discipline and truly caring for student athletes we have here at Buena Park,” White said. “We are extremely blessed and grateful that Coach Elias has chosen Buena Park to be his new home.”

Last year the Coyotes finished 11-2 overall and lost to Trabuco Hills in the Southwest Division semi finals.
