With Paraclete and Rosemead both losing for the second time, things are getting interesting early in the Mid Valley Division. Again, it’s early so the shuffle will most likely continue after this weeks games.

1. Sierra Canyon (2-0 0-0) – The Trailblazer offense is clicking early at nearly 49 ppg. May not be tested until October vs. Nordhoff.
2. Bell Gardens (2-0, -0) – Leonel Rodas and the rest of the Lancer bubbas getting it done up front.
3. Montebello (2-0, 0-0) – Brandon Gonzalez keeps the Oilers undefeated with an interception of Northview’s two point conversion.
4. Northview (1-1, 0-0) – Give credit to Viking HC Marcel Perez for going for the win in Montebello.
5. Covina (1-0, 0-0) – Colt quarterback Andrew Apodaca accounts for four scores in the expected win over La Puente.
6. Paraclete (0-2, 0-0) – The Spirit offense needs to pick up the pace. 31 points in two games can’t be what HC Norm Dahlia envisioned.
7. San Dimas (1-0, 0-0) – The 41-7 win over Maranatha served notice that the Saints are still a team to be reckoned with in the Mid Valley Division.
8. Pomona (1-1, 0-0) – Darreon Lockett gets some time under center and the Red Devils win.
9. Viewpoint (1-1, 0-0) – Offense is humming averaging over 490 yards a game but the defense needs to improve giving up 42 ppg.
10. Arroyo (1-1, 0-0) – The Knights jump back into the top 10 with a needed win over Temple City.
