Oh btw just received word that EMUHSD will investigating recent discipline incidents and the response by administrators. Stay tuned.
EM won’t hire those big mouths in the stands because that’s all they’re good for is screaming obscenities from the stands. You put those guys on the sidelines they’d probably freeze up of piss down their legs. Everyone is an expert in the stands, it’s when they actually have to make a decision does it become real. I like the idea of Mike Mooney taking over.
Why doesn’t El Monte hire one of those big mouth, know it all, Raider Nation dudes in the stands?
@Longshot
Indeed it’s along shot a very long shot…As in no way never not gonna happen lies lies lies. He did not apply. If he did he’d be hired already.
Wow
I heard McMillan from Arroyo applied for the El Monte job!!!!!! Tired of waiting around and being second fiddle. This U.K. Be amazing if indeed it happens.
High school football is beginning to sound like youth football.
flip rosemead and el monte and those divisions are good to go
spathias never struck, slapped or pushed any kids. You guys don’t have a clue! I know for a fact that never happen, I know someone that was there person. Don’t be irresponsible by spreading rumors. grow up people!
I seriously doubt that Monrovia would be moved to the Hacienda. The Hacienda is in the Mt Sac area grouping. Where Monrovia is in the Foothill Area. They usually keep them within their area if the change leagues.
It’s for 2018 thru 2022. Right now they’re taking recommendations and drafting proposals. Pretty sure they will finalize the process by the end of this year.
The business of football is growing faster than anyone can keep up with. Something has got to give here. We are asking coaches to coach year round for a measly stipend? Coaches are taking leaves too many hours and compensation is poultry. There’s gotta be a way to pay these coaches affect so much in our youth yet they make less than the guys picking fruit.
Didn’t know that… interesting. By chance do you know if the next league alignment is this year?
The Northern Area, potentially at least, got that much more interesting last week with the news that Arroyo Grande, Mission Prep, Paso Robles, Pioneer Valley, Righetti, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and Santa Maria-St. Joseph all wish to leave the Southern Section to join the CIF-Central Section. These teams are looking to create a 12 team league with a lower and upper division. Very plausible with the new playoff format might be something the Southern Section starts doing. I agree with you its probably too much to ask in the next releaguing cycle. But sure looks good on paper.
@Sportsdad
Not bad but it’s too radical for these guys. I think swapping a team for another is mich easier. Heard CIF still wants Monrovia in the Hacienda. Swap out Walnut with Monrovia
Or swap Arroyo for TC with the MVL. Or Arroyo into the Hacienda would be nice
Brandon Martinez to El Monte? Uhm???? I guess Sanchez is trying to find a way to get back to coaching at EM.
Lakers completely blow up their operation, and not a peep from this site for hours. Did Jeannie pink-slip the MVS staff too?
Every year they would evaluate what divisions should each school and can move schools up or down
So if you partner up the RHL and MVL Football
Upper Division
Monrovia
Arroyo
San Marino
South El Monte
El Monte
La Canada
Lower Division
Rosemead
Temple City
Gabrielino
Mountain View
South Pasadena
Marshall
Each team would have 2 cross division match ups preferably with rivals from old leagues

Spathias put his hands on a kid! No school in their right mind is going to hire him to lead young men….stop already!
El Monte will just find a way to get their next coach fired anyway….
More importantly, my original question: LM? WC? DB? LA? Even SP?
We waiting on the new ten
Another rumor going around EM is Brandon Martinez was applying to be HC
Spathias will never be a head coach again… he struck a kid in the face remember! Hard to get another shot offer that. I hear Amilcar Archilla is a heavy favorite to land the gig
Arroyo would be a great addition to the Rio Hondo league. Send TC to MVL
Also in realignment it’s time for Blair to eliminate the majority of its sports programs. Freelance in Basketball and Soccer which seems to be only sports they field teams on consistent basis. This way Rio Hondo League can bring in another school.
Spathais to El Monte if true a good move got young coaches who would follow him maybe some veteran coaches. Biggest mistake Bassett made was thinking they could bring someone new in and things be the same.
Hearing Hector Spathias to El Monte… anyone else hearing that?
Daddy Ball writing checks his sons gonna have to cash. Notice Lonzo never says anything remotely close to what his dad says. Sounds like dad is still trying to get that reality show off the ground
League Realignment should be a priority. The divisions worked well, but that’s gotta be phase 1 too many imbalances across the board. Walnut quickly comes to mind. Long Beach poly is another. Gotta address that aspect next.
father trying to hype his son to get as much $$$ at draft time.
if he tanks he will forever be a jackass
if he does well he believed in his son\if he does great wow he knows basketball
watch him say when his other son in college that he is better than his brother
La Mirada??? Los Altos??? West Covina???? Diamond Bar??? San Gabriel???
Bueller? Bueller?
Quick question is the Foothill Area going to do something about releaguing for 2018? It’s time to move teams around or do what some leagues are doing combining and putting an upper division for the better teams and lower division for the lesser teams. Any rumors out there?
I hear Ball senior is trying to get all major religions to replace the holy trinity with his three sons.
Getting real fed up with Joe Jackson er Richard Williams er Lever Ball. Please quit sticking a mike in this man’s face. The Donald Trump of sports dads.
#7 – Put down, and step away from the crack pipe.
La Var Ball u been smoke n some really good S***T… U are a fool to think that let alone say
