@FTFY someone mentioned Riley Saxon’s name a while ago on this board. How many on campus coaches are on there staff?
i am absolutely not privy to any rumors whatsoever. This is just random internet speculation. (Which is why we’re all here, isn’t it?) I have heard a lot of dissatisfaction, regarding both coaching style/process and (obviously) results. Naturally, the latter amplifies the former, fairly or not. But, my not particularly well informed speculation suggests that a 3-8 record (or 2-8, should Ram It!’s optimism be rewarded) at Monrovia would be something of a career limiting move. Who knows, maybe it will mean that Arroyo finally needs to get a new coach. That’s pretty standard MVS speculation. Or I could suggest that old standby, Jude Oliva!
@FTFY Wait?! Coaching carousel rumors on M Town?
I hear ya. They are both trending in opposite directions. Maybe with a playoff berth in their sights, they’ll fight a little harder. The JV teams looks much improved as well. Kudos to not only Saxon, but Cary Smith, the new AD. I can all but guarantee he is much more supportive of the program than Fick ever was.
HAHAHA! Oops.
Seriously though, TC has the better coach, but it won’t be enough to overcome Monrovia…this year. In the coming years, otoh, TC fans should be pretty optimistic, even though Monrovia’s coaching situation should improve this offseason.
@Ram It
We have the Ram and he will Ram It. Go Wildcats!

#9 – TC will outcoach Monrovia and lose the game anyway.
