Oh please. The more you remind people that you won a CIF title the less people care. He’s had enough success and should be confident enough to keep stuff like is to himself. My personal opinion, it doesn’t belong on twitter. You guys that are flying to his rescue, good for you. Stick up for your guy. We are all entitled to our opinion. Especially on the MVS blog.

I, for one, am willing to play along with the meme that Arroyo’s recent title was meaningful, at least until Jim’s surgical wounds have healed. The dictates of humanity require nothing less.

Relax guy…Jim isn’t bragging. In fact, it’s just proof of his humility with some self-deprecating humor. He was under anesthesia, was reportedly groggily (unconsciously talking), then was put in his place by the nurse when she said how cute, my kids play for St John Bosco, to which he replies more meds! That means he fully realizes where the “big boy” football is, and the fact that he can publicly poke fun at himself and his state during surgery is all the proof you need. The guy runs a good program, is always successful. Nobody wins CIF every year, regardless of division. His teams are always competing, though, again, regardless of division! So, unless you are out there, coaching it up in D-1, ZIP-IT!!!

When was the last time McKinnon bragged about his CIF championship? And he won it when one had the rights to brag about it. Not when he got luckily placed in D12 (should have been in 11 that year). Take your ring and simmer down bud. Don’t be arrogant and downgrade it like your blogger Knight aka Get Back Coach.
From T. Peterson: Dude, it was a joke! He was in recovery from surgery. Lighten up Francis!

Odds are better on LaVar keeping his mouth shut than they are for LiAngelo making the league.
