1. The Rams fell to the Dallas Cowboys 14-10 Saturday night in Hawaii.

2. Former Texas/NFL running back Cedric Benson was killed in a motorcycle accident Saturday at the age of 36.

3. Former CBS legendary sportscaster Jack Whitaker passed away at the age of 95.

4. Former Cleveland Cavalier head coach Ty Lue has joined the Clippers staff as an assistant coach.

5. The Lakers are interested in former center Dwight Howard now that DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins is out for the year with an ACL injury.

6. Chargers safety Derwin James fractured the fifth metatarsal and will have surgery on his foot. He is expected to be out at least three months.

7. San Dimas O-Lineman Dylan Arriaga.

8. La Habra at Upland, Thursday night, 7:00 p.m.

9. Pete Alonso of the New York Mets set the NL rookie mark for home runs in a season with his 40th.

10. Oakland Raider wide receiver Antonio Brown left camp again Sunday over the helmet issue. “From our perspective it’s time for him to be all-in or all-out.” – Oakland GM Mike Mayock.

    If Howard returns to the Lakers, it will be minus the hype and inflated salary. That could be a good thing….maybe Antonio Brown should pay attention to what can happen to a sports prima donna.
