    Also, if the old school can prove that the transfer is athletically motivated. They can provide CIF with prove and challenge the transfer.

    Not True FB FAN! If a Student has any academic, citizenship or attendance problems it is up to the old school to report it to CIF. Just saying.

    @Bitterview,

    That is not how transferring works. The previous school cannot force a sit out. The new school puts the transfer in as either a sit out or change of residence. The former school has nothing to do with that.

    So Covina didn’t challenge the Burns’ transfer but Northview is making Johnson sit out? Go figure

    As my heart belongs to the SGV and the mid to lower division teams I have parked my motor home in the Covina area for the weekend. I will attend the CDF for my first two games of the season. Northview 12-1 last season against the late charging semi-final run El Rancho Dons 9-4. Friday it will be 14-1 D6 champ South Hills vs 14-2 D10 champ and Bowl finalist Eisenhower. To early to handicap these games but a win by either Eisenhower or El Rancho would be huge upsets.
