  5. Yankees Hall of Fame pitcher Whitey Ford passed away at the age of 91 Thursday.
  6. Washington Football Team’s Dwayne Haskins has been demoted to the number 3 quarterback behind Kyle Allen and Alex Smith.
  7. Baylor has suspended all football related activities due to positive tests for Covid-19.
  8. The Dodgers and the Braves have both gone 5-0 in the post season heading into the NLCS.
  9. Rams at Washington, Sunday 10:00 a.m.
  10. The Houston Astros’ Carlos Correa is batting .500 with 4 home runs and 12 RBI in the post season.

    #1 & #8 This may be a Dodger team so good not even Dave Roberts can keep them from winning the trophy. Just keep Jensen on the bench until you have a 5 run lead, anything less will not be safe.

    BG football just hired the best kept secret in the Southeast and SG Valley in terms of HS football genius. A great offensive and defensive mind and coach of CIF champions, mentored by the best motivator and proven winner in the Mission Valley and Foothill leagues – legendary Coach Ken Davis.

    I won’t let the great but not surprisingly news regarding the new BG Head football coach – I’ll leave that to Mid Valley Sports to announce with great interest and vigor.
