- Jon Gruden resigned as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders after the New York Times disclosed numerous racist, misogynist and anti-gay emails sent by Gruden when he was a member of ESPN’s coverage team.
- Gruden had an overall record of 22-31 in the fourth year of a 10-year contract he signed with the Raiders in 2018.
- The Baltimore Ravens beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-25 in overtime on Monday Night Football.
- The Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants 7-2 Tuesday night to force a decisive Game 5 of the NLDS in San Francisco Thursday night.
- The Houston Astros beat the Chicago White Sox 10-1 Tuesday to wrap up the ALDS in four games.
- The Atlanta Braves beat the Milwaukee Brewers 5-4 Tuesday to win the NLDS in four games.
- The Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5 Monday night to win the ALDS in four games.
- The Clippers signed guard Terrance Mann to a two-year, $22 million extension.
- NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said the league has only four players that are unvaccinated as the 2021-’22 season opens up.

Anyone else suspect Houston and any team Alex Cora is associated with are still cheating. Since there was basically no punishment, what’s to stop them? Conscience ?
