  1. The Lakers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 103-93 Wednesday night. The Western Conference Playoff series is tied 1-1. 
  2. The LA Kings lost to the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 Wednesday night. The Westen Conference Playoff series is tied 1-1. 
  3. The Phoenix Suns beat the Clippers 129-124 in Game 3 Thursday night to take a 2-1 lead in their Western Conference Playoff series. 
  4. The Oakland Athletics have signed an agreement to purchase land near the Las Vegas strip with the intention to build a $1.5 billion, 35,000-seat major league ballpark. 
  5. According to numerous sources La Mirada has hired a new head football coach and will make the announcement very soon. 
  6. USC incoming freshman Isaiah Collier came in at number one in the Final High School basketball ESPN 100 rankings. 
  7. Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner has been designated for assignment meaning the team will eat more than $34 million remaining on his contract.  
  8. UCLA’s Adem Bona has declared for the 2023 NBA draft but is expected to retain college eligibility. Bona was named 2023 Pac-12 Freshman of the Year. 
  9. New York Mets pitcher Max Scherzer, who was ejected from Wednesday’s game against the Dodgers for having a foreign substance on his hand, has been suspended for 10 games by MLB. 
  10. Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa considered retirement after multiple stints in concussion protocol last season but ultimately chose not to.

    #7 Not good enough for the Diamondbacks but still better than 2/3 of the Dodger pitchers. Friedman going to sign him?
    #9 With the umpires checking your hands and glove after every inning, just how stupid do you have to to get caught using it?
