- Chargers NFL Draft – first five draft picks: Quentin Johnson – WR-TCU, Tuli Tuipulotu -DL- USC, Daiyan Henley- LB -Washington State, Derius Davis- WR-TCU, Jordan McFadden -OL- Clemson. The Chargers drafted TCU Quarterback Max Duggan with their last pick in the 7th Round.
- Steph Curry scored 50 points to lead the Golden State Warriors to a 120-100 win over the Sacramento Kings Sunday in Game 7 of their first round Westen Conference playoff series.
- The Lakers routed the Memphis Grizzlies 125-85 Friday night to win their first round Western Conference playoff series in six games. The Lakers will face the Warriors in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.
- The Denver Nuggets beat the Phoenix Suns 125-107 Saturday night to take a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference Semi-Finals.
- Eastern Conference Semi-Finals: The Miami Heat leads the New York Knicks 1-0; Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers- Game 1 Monday night.
- The Cleveland Browns selected UCLA Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson in the 5th round of the NFL draft.
- The LA Kings lost to the Edmonton Oilers 5-4 Saturday night and were eliminated from their Western Conference playoff series in six games.
- Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard, who missed the last three games of the first round playoff series with the Suns, has been diagnosed with a torn meniscus in his right knee.
- With the final pick in the NFL draft, number 259, the Rams selected Toledo defensive lineman Desjuan Johnson on Saturday, making him this year’s “Mr. Irrelevant”.
