Typically one game suspension for all involved by CIF regulation , so if they served suspension I don’t see problem but if outburst came in last game of season ….well should be season ended
It does set a precedent. Have a brawl with coaches punching at kids and keep playing ball. We need the cash.
The whole team didn’t brawl. Why punish everyone? My understanding is they suspended a few kids.
Brothers Kevin and Scott Pearson, of Warren football and baseball fame respectively, are doing an amazing job coaching at the Downey school. The Huntington Beach matchup will be tough, but here’s hoping things go well for the locals.
Even after the Norwalk vs Mayfair brawl, they are still allowed to go to the playoffs. What kind of message does CIF send to the schools and players by allowing these 2 teams to play especially when the police are investigating the situation. This is bad on CIF part.
