(Costa Mesa) – Former La Salle/Temple City American pitcher Vanessa Dwyer is now in the circle for Vanguard University. Wednesday she threw five shutout innings, allowing just three hits in an 8-0 win over Antelope Valley College. Dwyer did not walk a batter and struck out two. Read more »

(Temple City) – Nate Lee threw a complete game to lead Temple City to a 5-0 shut out of San Marino Tuesday in Rio Hondo League action at Temple City High. Lee also doubled to center and scored on an error on a sacrifice bunt by Erik Lewis in the third inning to get the Rams started. The one run turned out to be all the Rams needed. Read more »
