(East Los Angeles) – Abraham Gonzalez, who rushed for over 1100 yards last year for Schurr, has confirmed that he will be playing football for East Los Angeles College in the fall.

(Montebello)- Schurr picked the right time to have its best game of the season. The Spartans were nearly perfect on both sides of the ball as they dominated Baldwin Park 31-7 Friday night in the first round of the CIF Mid-Valley Division playoffs.

Thursday night games are always nice- it’s kind of like an appetizer before the main course. You know there is a full slate of games waiting for you on Friday and when a good game pops up on Thursday it’s just gravy.

Schurr Shines at Cal 28-23

(Whittier) – Aaron Cantu threw four touchdown passes and Abraham Gonzalez scored twice to lead Schurr to a 28-23 win over California Thursday night on the Condors home field.
