(Pasadena) – Andrew Elffers accounted for five touchdowns and ran for two more to lead Maranatha to a 34-17 win over Village Christian Friday night in Olympic League action.
By Eddie Solomon (Glendale) – Rio Hondo Prep was held scoreless in the first half but outscored Village Christian 31-6 in the second half to beat the Crusaders 31-13 Saturday night at Glendale High.
(Glendale)- Amjed Aboul-hosn rushed 293 yards and four touchdowns to lead Village Christian to a 41-21 victory over Fillmore on Saturday night at Moyse Stadium.
I covered three games in three nights. It started Thursday night at the Smudgepot at Citrus College and ended Saturday night at Covina District Field for West Covina- Covina. In between I was at La Salle High School to see the Lancers let a 21-0 lead get away in a loss to Village Christian.
