Burroughs Rolls as Anding Returns

By Eddie Solomon (Glendale) – Zander Anding carried the ball only six times as he returned to the field after a collapsed lung sidelined him last week. But he racked up 223 yards with those carries as Burroughs routed Hoover 42-14 Thursday night in Pacific League play.

Anding Continues to Carve Up Defenses

(Glendale) – Heading into its Pacific League game against Glendale, Burroughs knew it needed to guard against coming out flat against the Nitros. The Indians needed a 35-point third quarter to pull clear of a pesky Glendale team to remain undefeated in league with a 70-34 win.

Burroughs Win is Extra Special

(Burbank) – Quarterback Lucas Yanez scored on a one yard run in overtime to give Burroughs a 21-14 win over Arcadia Friday night in Pacific League action. Yanez hit Zander Anding on an 18-yard pass play on the first play in OT to set up the touchdown.
