Championship: Bonita 8 Arcadia 1 By Corey Kwok (Arcadia) – Bonita’s Brandon Murfett tossed a one run five hit complete game and received the run support he needed to beat Arcadia 8-1 Wednesday night to capture the Arcadia Invitational championship.

(Arcadia) – Norwalk’s two-prong running attack of Billy Moore and Elijhaa Penny bruised and punished the undersized defensive line of Arcadia enroute to a 35-27 win in the opening round of the CIF Southeast Division.
Burroughs Win is Extra Special
(Burbank) – Quarterback Lucas Yanez scored on a one yard run in overtime to give Burroughs a 21-14 win over Arcadia Friday night in Pacific League action. Yanez hit Zander Anding on an 18-yard pass play on the first play in OT to set up the touchdown.
Four Throw at Arroyo
(El Monte) – Arroyo hosted a four way toss Thursday afternoon with Arcadia, West Covina and Gladstone joining them at B.L. Bergstrom Stadium. Just in case you’ve been in cave for the last couple of years, I’ll clue you in. Steven Rivera can throw the ball.
