Cameryn Matthews making a play.
Kick it!
I’d be happy too if I was a Gabrielino fan…Peters to Matthews? Smells  like six to me.
A prominent area coach called me on Sunday night and said anyone saying Arcadia HC Chris Long doesn’t know what he’s doing, doesn’t know football. He went on to describe the Apaches loss to [...]

Duarte Breaks Camp

(Duarte)- “We had a great camp,” said first year Duarte Falcon HC Jason Martin. “We’re a little banged up right now, but its the end of two-a-days for us. We got in our work, some special packages. We’re feeling good.” Here are a few pics:
Falcon HC Jason Martin believes his team “will be there” when [...]

Denzel Talifero 2011 Highlights: Now at Duarte

The Peterson Principle 5/21/12

Arcadia Assistant Eric Elias is high on the Apache skill players
Would it be a stretch to say Arcadia in the Pacific?  The league is in flux. Burbank and Crescenta Valley have lost a lot of players to graduation, as did Pasadena. The Bulldogs have Brandon Cox, the best quarterback in the league, but does [...]

Gabrielino opens its 2012 season this Saturday at South Pasadena and brings with it Angel Acosta and his 324 career strike outs.
Personally I could listen to Tamar Hill talk all night…and would never feel like she was showing me up.

Stangs Keep the Bell

Kevon Seymour made the big play that help decide the outcome.
By Andy Villanueva
(Pasadena) – Since 1995 the “Victory Bell” has been located on the Westside of Pasadena and for a brief moment on Thursday night it appeared to be making an address change to the campus on Sierra Madre Blvd.
The moving vans were never needed [...]

Muir Rises in the Pacific

Muir's Tarien Owens scored on a pick-six and a 23-yard run Friday night.
(Pasadena)- With the warm smell of colitas DEFINITELY rising up in the air, Muir’s Tarien Owens scored twice, Denzel Talifero and Charles Clayton were all over on defense, and Burroughs’ Zander Anding didn’t play as the Mustangs beat the Indians 28-0 at Horrell [...]
