By Tim Peterson (La Mirada) – Sei-j Lauago scored twice and Elijah Hicks had  huge block of a punt in the end zone as La Mirada rolled to a 36-14 win over Oceanside in the Division III-AA State Bowl Friday night.

Last year’s first round playoff loss to Salesian especially left a bad taste in their mouths. This year the Matadores made sure that didn’t happen with a convincing 45-20 win over La Serna Saturday night to capture the Southeast Division title.
