(Temple City) – After covering the Temple City playoff baseball game Thursday I walked over to the other field off of Tobacco Road to check out the football team as they ran through their fourth day of spring drills. No real revelations here.

Rams Bounced by St. Bonnies

(Temple City) – St. Bonaventure scored three runs in the first inning and that was enough to beat Temple City as the Rams fell 4-2 in the first round of the CIF Division 4 playoffs Thursday.

Baldwin Park and Walnut under the Lights…in May

(Baldwin Park) – Baldwin Park and Walnut squared off Friday night in a passing competition. But it wasn’t your typical passing competition. It was 11 on 11 instead of the traditional 7 on 7 and it was under the Friday night lights at Baldwin Park High.

Knights Clinch Crown in Final Game

(Rosemead) – Arroyo jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and then held the rest of the way in a 4-1 win over Rosemead Friday. With the victory, the Knights clinched the Mission Valley League title.
