West All-Stars Getting Ready
(Monrovia) – The West All Stars for the 2011 Hall of Fame Game were busy practicing Wednesday afternoon for the battle Friday night against the East at West Covina High School.
Knights Clinch Crown in Final Game
(Rosemead) – Arroyo jumped out to a 4-0 lead after three innings and then held the rest of the way in a 4-1 win over Rosemead Friday. With the victory, the Knights clinched the Mission Valley League title.

(El Monte) – Tony Davalos fired a complete game and Arroyo got all the runs it needed in the first inning in a 2-1 win over Gabrielino Friday in a key Mission Valley League contest.
Acosta Zeros in on Knights
(El Monte) – Angel Acosta wobbled but did not fall. He bent but never broke. He escaped more tight spots than Houdini and in the end he threw a complete game shutout to lead Gabrielino to a 1-0 win over Arroyo in Mission Valley League action Monday.

Acosta Pitches Gabrielino to Win
By Corey Kwok (San Gabriel) – Gabrielino’s Angel Acosta and Arroyo’s Mark Roche matched each other pitch for pitch for 4 1/2 scoreless innings. But the Eagles pushed one across in the fifth and held on for a 1-0 victory over the Knights Wednesday in a key Mission Valley League contest.
