(Whittier, CA) The La Serna Lancers ran for 387 yards and seven touchdowns and pounded their way to a 56-35 victory over the Rio Mesa Spartans Friday night in the quarter finals of the CIF Division V playoffs at Cal High School.

Hagerty Resigns at Bishop Amat

By Tim Peterson (La Puente)- Steve Hagerty has resigned as the head football coach at Bishop Amat after 17 years he announced Friday. Hagerty released a statement that said in part that “It was simply time for new leadership. I no longer believe that I am the guy to lead this program.”
